The Holocaust Remembrance Project is an annual nationwide essay contest. In 2004, I wrote a first-place gold medal winning essay on Denmark's success in saving its Jewish population during the Holocaust.

The Library of Congress holds one of my memoir pieces in the United States Congressional Record. On October 12, 2000, Congressman Tom Lantos (D-CA) read in the recounting of my experience retracing the rescue route used to save the Danish Jews during the Holocaust.
